For Real Estate professionals, a home inspection is a critical part of the home sales process. This is critical for your clients who are selling and critical for your clients who are buying.
However, there is a lot of concern and stories within the media about the potential for conflicts of interest that exist when you refer home inspectors to your clients. Remove any doubt as to whether a home inspector is unbiased, by letting us do the referral on your behalf.
There are two ways for us to get bids to your clients:
- Send your clients to Inspection.com. Our domain name is easy to remember and we are the #1 name in home inspection referrals. We will make it easy for them to get unbiased bids from our inspectors who compete for their business. The replies they get from inspectors will help them compare inspectors using standardized questions that get to the important matters.
- Complete the request on their behalf, or with them in your office. Simply enter their details within any of our Competition Boxes (found at the top of many of our pages), and we will have competing responses in no time to all. We ask up to 4 home inspectors to compete for your client’s business… and as price should not be the deciding factor, we ensure they give your clients the information they need to know to make an informed decision.

How the process works
- Information is submitted about the property type, your location, and the type of inspection you require
- We send a survey to two-to-four inspectors that match your requirements (expertise, geographic area) and ask them to “compete” for your business (note: price is not everything, and in fact, it is not a good way to compare inspectors unless the services are identical)
- We ask the inspectors to respond directly to you with answers to this survey. This allows you to compare inspectors side-by-side with their answers to questions that help you make an informed decision.
- After having your property inspected, we ask you to return to Inspection.com to provide feedback on the inspection you received. Your feedback will be shared with future customers to help them make better buying decisions.
